Our main area of expertise is economic criminal law, but we also cover the entire field of law.
We also provide a full range of civil law services, but my personal specialism is family law, divorce, child custody and related administrative procedures.
Criminal Section
Based on experience gained in various police forces, representing clients in relation to open police procedures and applying this experience to cases where the increasingly common secret investigation procedures are used.
Recently, the investigating authority has been using tools that the average lawyer does not know about, and that the client has never heard of. However, the use of operational tools is restricted by law and the outcome of some proceedings depends on the defender's knowledge of the tools and the rules for their disclosure. This is particularly true for the judiciary.
The merger of VPOP and APEH within the National Tax and Customs Administration has created an interesting situation. While the VPOP investigators use the framework of secret investigations and open procedures, the APEH investigators cooperate with the APEH investigators to interview clients on questions they would not be obliged to answer during the investigation. As a result, the individuals and businesses we represent are increasingly requesting that we become involved in investigations from the outset of the NAV proceedings, thus preventing problems later on.
Let's face it, the first time you need a legal representative to make a declaration, you save yourself a lot of inconvenience at a minimum cost.
Thanks to the changes in the law, we can now accompany you even if you are summoned as a witness, and represent you as a witness's legal assistant. If you are a victim, we can represent you before the authorities. We will continue to prepare documents, notifications, motions and observations to be submitted to the authorities.
Family jurisdiction
A divorce is a lot of hassle. We will consult with the ex-spouse's legal representative. We will make a settlement if it is feasible. We represent you in your divorce proceedings, we help you to obtain custody if you have minor children, and we try to find a compromise solution to contact issues. If property division is at issue, we will reach the best possible agreement for you, or if not, we will take legal action to get you what you are entitled to.
We represent you before the Public Guardian and other authorities. If your relationship with your ex-spouse has broken down, you don't need to negotiate with him or her, our office will take care of that.
In our work, we believe that it is in the interest of both parties to reach an agreement, and we make it our priority to do so. Unfortunately, this is not always the way forward.
Agricultural law
The special nature of land sales means that you also need expertise that cannot be acquired by someone who is not involved in this field. Our office manager wrote her thesis on farmland ownership, but her small family is also involved in farming.
We can help you interpret grant agreements, draft your lease quickly and accurately, and prepare sale and purchase agreements in as little as a day. We can also act as a signpost to the relevant local authorities if required.
In case of dispute, we will represent you in administrative proceedings before the competent ministries.
Insurance branch
Unrivalled experience in accident, property and non-property claims in compensation and insurance matters, representing victims of traffic accidents, with a particular focus on the motorcycling community and industrial accidents.
